Metafest 2022 is a brand new NFT conference taking place in Crans-Montana, Switzerland. It will bring together investors, technologists, crypto companies and members of the public from 6 to 10 April 2022. Most importantly, it is designed to celebrate the NFT and metaverse spaces.

What can we expect from Metafest 2022?

The unique networking event, hosted by Swissborg, will focus heavily on music NFTs due to its partnership with Pianity. It will include demonstrations, workshops, conferences; meetings; awards; auctions, as well as after-parties.

During Metafest 2022, artists, celebrities and metaverse specialists will participate in conferences and workshops. Interestingly, the festival is open to both metaverse experts and rookies. This is because there will be various talks that will serve as an introduction to the metaverse.

There will be a presentation of active as well as emerging NFT platforms from various sectors, including music, gaming and art. Furthermore, summit organizer Swissborg will present a deep dive into cryptocurrencies and NFTs. Other topics include real estate in the metaverse, speculative buying and development projects, and using blockchain for events.

Not just another metaverse conference

In addition to learning about these technologies, Metafest attendees can participate in workshops, treasure hunts, and an awards ceremony. The awards ceremony will include various categories, including “Best Metaverse Land,” “Play to Earn” and “Early Stage.” By participating in the awards ceremony, NFT start-ups can showcase their products to an audience interested in their project as well as potential investors.

There will also be an auction for physical and NFT art. This will include a live mix from the world-renowned DJ Luciano, Mining Sculpture, Banksy’s Art, Mike Horn’s exploration NFT, DJ Dan Ghenacia’s Dream Machine and more. Last but not least, a party featuring world-class sets from Tale Of Us, Dixon and Jamie Jones will close the conference.

Metafest is the latest in the line of conferences focusing on NFTs, crypto and the metaverse. In Europe alone, festivals such as Portugal’s Non-Fungible Conference and France’s NFT Paris have served as physical spaces for metaverse enthusiasts to connect and network.
