Rise & Grind 👑🙌🏾
This week we’ve been talking about energy leaks and how they don’t always show up in obvious ways.
Some leaks happen in the mind, or in the heart.
And some happen because of what we keep surrounding ourselves with.
So today I want to talk about environmental and digital leaks. Because the spaces we sit in…
– the voices we listen to…
– the content we consume…
– the timelines we scroll…
– the rooms we stay in…
All shape our energy more than we sometimes realize. And that matters. Because not every environment is neutral.
– Some spaces nourish us.
– Some inspire us.
– Some calm the nervous system.
– Some help us hear our own thoughts more clearly.
But some environments do the opposite.
– They keep us on edge.
– They keep us overstimulated.
– They keep us reactive.
– They keep us scattered.
– They keep us emotionally crowded.
– They keep us plugged into tension so often that tension starts to feel normal.
That is an energy leak too.
And digital spaces can be some of the sneakiest leaks of all.
Because it doesn’t always look harmful at first.
It just looks like checking the timeline.
– Reading one more headline.
– Keeping up with the market.
– Watching what everyone else is doing.
– Taking in “just a little more” information.
But over time, too much noise becomes its own drain.
– Too many hot takes.
– Too many fear cycles.
– Too many reactive voices.
– Too much doomscrolling.
– Too much urgency disguised as information.
And if we’re not careful, our nervous system starts living inside the energy of the feed.
That’s why I think this one matters so much right now.
Because the world is loud.
The news is heavy.
Crypto moves fast.
Timelines are emotional.
And a lot of digital environments reward reactivity more than reflection.
So if we keep living inside chaotic spaces, we shouldn’t be surprised when our peace gets harder to hold.
That doesn’t mean we have to disconnect from reality.
It means we need discernment. It means asking:
– Does this space support my peace or drain it?
– Does this information help me act wisely, or just keep me emotionally activated?
– Does this timeline inform me, or train me to live in urgency?
– Does this environment help me stay clear, or does it keep me foggy and tense?
Because if everything is energy, then environment matters.
– Digital energy matters.
– Atmosphere matters.
– Community matters.
– The “vibe” is not imaginary. It’s information.
And this shows up in crypto too.
Not every space discussing blockchain is helping people build wisely.
Some spaces are feeding panic.
Some are feeding ego.
Some are feeding tribalism.
Some are feeding addiction to constant reaction.
That’s why protecting your energy may look like changing what you expose yourself to.
Less noise.
Less chaos.
Less doom.
Less compulsive checking.
More intention.
More quiet.
More clarity.
More spaces that support truth instead of draining it.
So today I’m reflecting on this…
Maybe one of the most powerful ways to plug an energy leak is to stop normalizing environments that keep us internally tense.
Because peace is not only about what we think. It’s also about what we keep letting shape us every day.
