So in 2023 we did a week discussing how EGO and Love can’t exist together. And I started the first day with how both Spiritual Warfare and Warfare are both rooted in EGO.

I see the 🧵between today’s quote and that weekly discussion. The quote today reminds us to drop the mask, face the shadow, & let the real us shine.

One thing we learned during our EGO discussion weeks, EGO is just trying to protect us the best it knows how. But our Essence is who we want in the driver’s seat.

– Ego → Essence: Retire the EGO’s roles…Prover, Pleaser, Performer. Thank the guard (EGO) for keeping us safe. But it’s time to lay down the armor and let the authentic self (Essence) lead.

– Four Agreements: Speak impeccably, don’t take the bait personally, don’t assume, do your best.

– Wu Wei (effort without forcing): We don’t wrestle the shadow, we turn on the light.

– Quantum / Anchoring: Respond as the version of us who already laid the armor down.

– Energy Boundaries: Peace is preserved energy. Protect it like it protects you.

One honest action: a boundary, an apology, or a clean “No.” Then hand on heart, slow/deep breath, whisper: “This mask kept me safe. I release it.”
