This week is the 4th Hermetic Principle, The Principal Of Polarity. This principle teaches us that everything is dual, has poles, and has a pair of opposites. Because we are beginning to understand everything is connected, we understand that opposites are not separate from each other, but rather are connected and complementary

Everything has two sides or aspects, like the opposite ends of a magnet. For example, think about how there’s hot and cold, light and dark, or happy and sad. These are all opposite qualities, but they’re connected, like two sides of the same coin.

So, when something seems bad or negative, there’s usually something good or positive about it too. For instance, when it’s dark outside, we can appreciate the beauty of the stars shining brightly. And when we’re feeling sad, it helps us appreciate the joyous moments even more. 

Having a better understanding of polarity helps us see that life is full of contrasts, and both the good and the bad are important parts of our experiences.
