How We Can Heal And Balance Our Heart Chakra

Start with the root chakra and move up. Sometimes the imbalance is from somewhere below.

Exercise creates a healthy sense of self-love. Our bodies are our greatest gifts, and the more we learn to respect, honor and take care of them, the healthier our heart chakras will be.

Breathwork is a powerful practice, especially with air being the element of the heart chakra. Deep breathing can bring peace and calm to the heart and remove stuck or negative energy from the heart chakra.

Meditation is a great tool for balancing the chakras. There are even guided meditations designed specifically for the heart chakra that can be found in YouTube.

Music. The heart chakra responds to music that makes you happy. Vibrational energy or sound meditation to feel the heart chakra come back into alignment.

Work with the color green; wear it, eat it, write in it, etc.

Mantras: Yam. Verbalizing the seed syllable, “yam.” (Pronounce it with the same vowel sound as “yawn,” rather than, “yam,” like the vegetable!)

Affirmations. Like “I deeply and completely love and accept myself.”

Crystals: amazonite, chrysocolla, chrysoprase, emerald, rose quartz, green aventurine

Essential Oils: eucalyptus, geranium, lime, marjoram, melaleuca, peppermint, rose, thyme, ylang ylang

Yoga practices: chest stretches, back bending poses, kirtan
