Blockchain Startup CEO will Discuss Entertainment and Blockchain in Taipei on July 3rd

SINGAPORE, June 28, 2018 – David Yu, CEO of ECOMI, a blockchain company committed to creating the world’s best platform to pay, protect, and collect cryptocurrencies and licensed collectables, will speak at this year’s Asia Blockchain Summit in Taipei, Taiwan. The conference will take place July 2-3 and will showcase some of the most compelling thinkers, brands, and conversations in cryptocurrency today.

ECOMI will take the main stage at 9:50am local on July 3rd to discuss “How Blockchain Changes the Entertainment Industry,” among a panel of experts. Other speakers on the panel include Ubitus CEO, Wesley Kuo, and LGBT Foundation President, Christof Wittig.

“I’m elated to be among such revered industry leaders at this year’s summit and looking forward to an exciting conversation,” said Yu of the panel. “There’s surging interest in blockchain across all areas of entertainment, and I’ll be sharing insight on the growing demand of digital solutions for global licensors and trends likely hitting the industry within the next few years.”

With more than two decades of experience in the gaming and licensing industries transforming unique licenses into globally recognized brands, ECOMI’s David Yu hopes to make digital commodities more secure and exciting for consumers while providing a bridge for well-known global licensors to expand into the blockchain space, via ECOMI Collect. ECOMI Collect allows users to easily purchase, trade, and sell licensed digital collectables from their favorite brands, and takes digital collecting one step further by using augmented reality to bring collectables to life.

Joining ECOMI, the summit’s speaker lineup features experts including Thomas Lee, a Managing Partner at Fundstrat Global Advisors, along with Changpeng Zhao, CEO and Founder of Binance, and CNBC’s Ran Neuner, among others. Other headliners of the conference are Litecoin Creator Charlie Lee and Member of Parliament Jason Hsu who is a legislator on crypto policy.
