The site said the incident happened shortly after it announced a mining investment in Dogecoin and Litecoin.

Dogecoin is a meme-based coin that has received more recognition due to promotional campaigns of top figures like Mark Cuban and Elon Musk.

The company recently announced it has made a 15% equity investment in DOGE/LTC mining farm to mine both Litecoin and Dogecoin. According to the Canadian firm, the mining establishment is the largest in the world that can mine the two crypto assets. The data center holds about 90,000 rigs and has a capacity of 70 megawatts.

The mining facility also caters to between 3 to 5% of the LTC/DOGE hash rate. After the announcement, the website stated that its web traffic increased by over 1000%. As a result, it overwhelmed the capacity, leading to a temporary outage.

But Hello Pal’s app service and the streaming platform weren’t affected despite also having an increased number of online activity.

The company is not only interested in equity investment. The company has also increased its investments in its mining inventory with about 51% of its 12,500 mining rigs channeled to Dogecoin and Litecoin.

Intensified activities around Dogecoin

The Chief Executive Officer of Hello Pal, while commenting on the development, stated that the crash is an indication of a positive thing happening to the company. He said the increase in activities on the site shows it has taken the right steps to invest more in Dogecoin and Litecoin mining.

Despite its true value as a meme-based coin, Dogecoin has attracted more interest from the crypto community. A lot of positive things are happening around the cryptocurrency at the moment, with leading crypto ATM provider CoinFlip adding support for DOGE across 1,800 of its crypto ATMs.
