The first tranche of NFTs was released ahead of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. It has announced a total of 32,000 unique NFTs on the basis of a limited 1000 NFTs for every team which has qualified for the tournament.
The primary attraction of the project is that every Sport Fans NFT holder will receive a guaranteed airdrop of 1500 WFN tokens. The project has opened to the public for whitelisting.
“All our NFTs will be specifically minted for some of the major tournaments across various sports and one can not miss the world’s most popular sporting event – The FIFA World Cup,” said Mouttou Viramouttou, Co-founder & Chairman, Brugu Software Solutions.
There is no other sport which brings out the raw passion of the fans as much as football, and now fans are going to get treated for their support, added Viramouttou.

Every time a team will move to the next level of the tournament, NFT holders of the respective teams will receive almost double the number of WFN tokens. Sport Fans plans to launch Fans NFTs as well for the upcoming FIFA World Cups.
The 22nd edition of the FIFA World Cup will be hosted in eight venues of five cities of Qatar from November 20 to December 18 this year, where 32 nations will participate including the host nation and defending champions France.
