‘Always There Is Something Else on the Horizon’- Serena Williams Gives Her Preference Between Bitcoin and Ethereum

23-time Grand Slam winner, Serena Williams, has been making big headlines over the past few weeks. This time, it’s not because of tennis. In the Bloomberg Technology interview with Emily Chang, Serena Williams and Alison Rapaport answered various questions about their Venture Capital firm. In 2014, the tennis player invested in this firm. Slowly but steadily, she has been making all these investments under the radar. In a fun sort of question, the interviewer asked Serena if she likes Bitcoin or Ethereum or something else.

In reply, she said, “I think there’s always there is something else on the horizon… I think a Bitcoin has had an amazing boom and it continues to do something amazing and it’s huge, right? I’m personally really in love with Ethereum. I think it’s just, it’s more accessible, and it’s just the way, it’s what I prefer, but I love them.”

Recently, Serena has been getting all the success in investments and cryptocurrencies. However, that is not the case with her on the field. She has been out of action from tennis for more than eight months now. Fans are beginning to wonder if she still has the desire and drive to win the 24th Grand Slam title.

It’s a fact that she is making a lot of investments for the future, which can look like making a retirement plan after tennis. However, she already made an indication that she is not done yet. Last year, she missed the US Open, and this year, she missed the Australian Open. It’s highly unlikely that she will make a return at the French Open. Right now, Wimbledon is the best possible scenario for the 23-time Grand Slam champion.
