Innodata Stock Adds 1M in Two Sessions as INOD Rally Extends Premarket

Innodata Inc. (NASDAQ: INOD) shares extended a sharp rally in premarket trading Wednesday after rising 22.45% over the previous two regular sessions, adding roughly $441 million to the company’s equity value.

Google Finance showed INOD at $72.80, up 4.04%, at about 7:02 a.m. EDT on Sept. 23. The stock jumped 14.61% on Tuesday to $69.97, following a 6.84% gain on Monday that lifted it to $61.05. INOD had closed at $57.14 on Sept. 18.

The latest acceleration came as investors weighed a Hunterbrook Media report that argued Innodata’s work for its largest customer could be connected to Meta’s Muse personal AI agent. Neither Meta nor Innodata has confirmed such a connection, and Hunterbrook said its conclusion was based on reporting and similarities between publicly disclosed projects, not on an announced partnership.

Two-Session Rally Adds About $441 Million to Innodata’s Equity Value

Based on Innodata’s reported 34,382,651 shares outstanding as of July 31, the company’s market capitalization increased from approximately $1.965 billion at the Sept. 18 closing price of $57.14 to about $2.406 billion at Tuesday’s $69.97 close. That represents an increase of roughly $441 million across the two sessions.

MarketWatch also lists approximately 34.38 million shares outstanding.

Trading activity accelerated alongside the price move. About 5.4 million Innodata shares changed hands Tuesday, more than four times MarketWatch’s 65-day average of roughly 1.28 million shares. INOD traded as high as $74.93 during the session before closing at $69.97.

Importantly, the rally had already begun before Hunterbrook published its report Tuesday afternoon. INOD gained 6.84% on Monday before adding another 14.61% Tuesday.

Hunterbrook Links Innodata’s Agent Work to Muse, but Connection Remains Unconfirmed

Hunterbrook said interviews with former Innodata employees and a review of public hiring records indicated that Meta is the unnamed customer that has historically represented a large portion of Innodata’s revenue.

Innodata’s disclosures confirm the customer concentration but do not identify Meta. The company’s 2025 annual report said one unnamed Digital Data Solutions customer accounted for approximately 58% of total revenue. Based on Innodata’s reported 2025 revenue of $251.7 million, that percentage corresponds to roughly $146 million.

Hunterbrook also pointed to Innodata’s second-quarter disclosure that it had secured a significant program with its largest customer involving the “personalization of long-horizon agents.” Innodata said the program was scaling and separately disclosed work involving reinforcement-learning environments for computer-use agentic tasks.

Hunterbrook argued that the description resembled capabilities Meta has highlighted for Muse, including personalization, remembering user preferences and completing longer-running tasks.

Meta introduced Muse on Sept. 8 as a personal AI agent that can work across applications through its own browser, remember user context, and continue working on longer tasks even after the user closes the app.

However, Innodata has not disclosed the size, expected duration, or margins of the long-horizon agent program, and neither company has said the work relates to Muse.

The report also disclosed that Hunterbrook Capital, an investment firm linked to the outlet, held a long position in INOD at the time of publication.

Largest Customer Accounted for 37% of Second-Quarter Revenue

Innodata’s dependence on its largest customer declined during the second quarter even as the customer remained a significant contributor to revenue.

The company said its largest customer accounted for 37% of second-quarter 2026 revenue, down from 56% in the first quarter. Another Big Tech customer increased to 34% of quarterly revenue.

Innodata also said it expected full-year revenue from its largest customer to increase from the previous year.

The company has not identified that customer as Meta in its SEC filings or earnings materials and has not publicly connected its “personalization of long-horizon agents” program to Muse.

Tokenized INOD Rises Alongside Nasdaq-Listed Shares

The rally was also reflected in Innodata Tokenized Stock (Robinhood).

CoinMarketCap showed the tokenized asset at approximately $74.56, up 27.56% over 24 hours. It had a reported circulating and total supply of about 176.37 INOD, giving it a market capitalization of roughly $13,150, while 24-hour trading volume stood at about $163.

CoinMarketCap categorizes the asset under Tokenized Assets, Robinhood Ecosystem, and Robinhood Stock.

Robinhood describes its Stock Tokens as tokenized debt securities issued by Robinhood Assets (Jersey) Limited that provide economic exposure to the corresponding underlying securities without giving holders legal or beneficial ownership rights in the underlying company. Robinhood says the tokens are backed 1:1 by the corresponding equity.

The tokenized asset remains much smaller than Innodata’s Nasdaq-listed equity by reported market capitalization. Its dollar-denominated trading volume is also not directly comparable with Nasdaq share volume.

Innodata Rally Enters Wednesday Premarket

INOD entered Wednesday’s premarket session after gaining 22.45% across Monday and Tuesday and extended that advance before the opening bell.

The rally comes ahead of Meta Connect, scheduled for Sept. 23-24. Meta says the event will cover developments in AI technologies, AI glasses, Meta Horizon and virtual reality. Its published event description does not identify Innodata or discuss suppliers connected with Muse.

Separately, Innodata has announced a leadership transition effective Sept. 30. Rahul Singhal is scheduled to become president and chief executive officer, while Jack Abuhoff will become executive chairman.
