The Omi Alliance is one of the biggest yakuza groups in the Yakuza series. With their main base of operations in Sotenbori, they often find themselves at odds with the Tojo Clan in Kamurocho. They’re equal in power, and in many of the games are at the brink of war with one another.
The Omi Alliance is filled with strong members, many times rivaling the power of those in the Tojo Clan, sometimes being even stronger. They tend to be more scheming than their Tojo Clan counterparts. The Omi Alliance is a large crime organization and has had a constant presence throughout the games.

Reiji Isioda
Reiji Isioda is the patriarch of the Isioda Family, a subsidiary of the Omi Alliance. Later on, he becomes the second captain of the Tokyo Omi Alliance once it forms. Over the course of Yakuza: Like A Dragon, he becomes progressively more involved, temporarily taking the reigns and calling the shots.
He is more reckless than some of the other members of the Omi Alliance, Isioda showed that he’s able to get results for the yakuza. Isioda is also ruthless, and not afraid to get his hands dirty to advance his agenda.

Jo Sawashiro
Sawashiro is one of the closest members to Arakawa and was the second patriarch of the Arakawa Family. He is also the first chairman of the Toyko Omi Alliance, stepping into the role from being a Lieutenant of the Omi Alliance.
Throughout Yakuza: Like A Dragon, Sawashiro shows he has what it takes to get things done, and is the main reason he was able to climb through the ranks of the Omi Alliance. Over time, his cold, ruthless heart starts to warm, but he never stopped being one of the strongest members the Omi Alliance had ever seen.

Tsukasa Sagawa
Sagawa acts as one of the antagonists in Majima’s half of the Yakuza 0 story. After Majima’s involvement in an attempted hit on a family patriarch, he’s punished and watched over by Sagawa. He has the connections to ensure that Majima doesn’t try to escape, and able to keep him in line.
Sagawa is also the sworn brother of Tojo Clan’s Shimano. While he doesn’t fight often, Sagawa is more powerful in other ways, using others to get the job done. He isn’t strong in the traditional sense, the connection he has shoots him into the spotlight as one of the strongest Omi Alliance members.

Homare Nishitani
Nishitani is the patriarch of the Ijin Clan and is a retainer to Omi Alliance chairman Jin Goda. Being so close to the chairman shows just how strong Nishitani is. During the events of Yakuza 0, he decides to help Majima and eventually befriends him.
Nishitani is obsessed with fighting, doing so since he was a young child. He never stopped and wants nothing more than to duke it out with people on his level. Majima is one of the only ones who truly fit that bill. He’s crazy and was one of the inspirations for Majima to take on his Mad Dog persona.

Shigeki Baba
Baba is one of the characters in Yakuza 5, debuting in Saejima’s part but eventually playing a role in every protagonists’ story when they all wind up back in Kamurocho. He works under Kurosawa, the seventh chairman of the Omi Alliance.
While he appears weak and helpless while at the prison with Saejima, he was putting on an act and as the story progresses, Baba’s true strength shines through. He’s an important part of the plot of Yakuza 5 and trusted by the most important man in the Omi Alliance for how strong he is.

Kamon Kanai
Kanai is one of the main antagonists of Yakuza 5, primarily as a part of Haruka and Akiyama’s part. He’s incredibly strong, being able to shrug off hits from Akiyama like it was nothing. Captain of Osaka Enterprises, his strength shows that he earned his position.
Kanai is completely heartless, and not above torturing people to the point of death to get information out of them. He even goes as far as kidnapping Haruka. He often butts heads with others who disprove of his style, but they often don’t stick around long.

Yosuke Tendo
Tendo was originally a boxer, but after a scandal he left the scene and joined the yakuza, ending up in the Omi Alliance. He worked his way up to become the patriarch of the Ryudo Clan, a subsidiary of the Omi Alliance. His time in the ring built up his strength, and he’s built like a truck.
One thing Tendo is known for is switching sides to whichever one will advance him further. He has no loyalty, and only needs his wits and fists in order to get the job done. They take him far as well, becoming the last captain of the Tokyo Omi Alliance.

Masumi Arakawa
Arakawa started off in the Tojo Clan, but shortly into the plot of Yakuza: Like A Dragon he rose up the ranks of the Omi Alliance, almost to the top. Arakawa is responsible for running the entire Tojo Clan out of Kamurocho, allowing the Omi Alliance to take over.
Arakawa is responsible for quite a bit that happens to both the Tojo Clan and Omi Alliance, and being able to run out the Tojo Clan is no easy task. Arakawa shows just how cunning he is over the course of Yakuza: Like A Dragon, all the way to the very end.

Masaru Watase
First appearing in Yakuza 5, Watase is a captain of the Omi Alliance, and patriarch of the Watase Family. He’s one of the few characters in the entire series that are able to come close to standing on even ground with Kiryu, and the two become friends after the events of Yakuza 5.
While he doesn’t fight in Yakuza: Like A Dragon in the traditional sense, if his Poundmates summon is anything to go by, his strength never faltered. He’s one of the strongest and most prominent members of the Omi Alliance, earning his high rank within it.

Ryuji Goda
Ryuji Goda is the main antagonist of Yakuza 2, and is often considered to be one of the best antagonists in the entire series. He is the son of Omi Alliance chairman Jin Goda, and the patriarch of the top Omi Alliance subsidiary to Go-Ryu Clan.
Like Kiryu, Goda has a dragon tattoo on his back, with his own nickname of the Dragon Of Kansai. He sees Kiryu as a rival, and two become destined to fight over who is the one true dragon. Goda has firm control over his family members, and enough strength to give even Kiryu a run for his money.
