Powered by Polygon, the Immutable zkEVM offers Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatibility, low cost, large-scale potential, and Ethereum security. It leads to the creation of complex gameplay mechanics as custom smart contracts which contribute to the stable development of the gaming industry.OKX and Immutable leaders plan to disrupt how over 50 Million users of both companies interact and access NFT and digital assets within the game industry. Earlier this year, the two companies announced a strategic partnership to introduce a GameFi NFT launchpad and integrate Immutable’s zkEVM chain into OKX’s Marketplace and Wallet.
However, Immutable launched its zkEVM Mainnet earlier this year. The gaming chain garnered commitments from over 200 games across major studios like Guild of Guardians and BADMAD Robots. With gas-free transactions for Immutable Passport users, the Mainnet facilitates frictionless blockchain gaming experiences.
