Being patient and calm during storms in our life is how we come out with minimum damage. When trees are grounded and rooted, they continue to grow and stay firm through any storm that comes their way. Grass showing us no matter how many times it is cut down, it will continue to push through fuller and stronger.
As we find ways to implement in our lives the things that foster patience like mindfulness, discovering our triggers, slowing down, and accepting things as they are…..the anger from impatient will be replaced with understanding. Resulting in more peace of mind.
Remember this lifestyle is choice, and it’s not an easy one by any means (Especially in this world) But for me the equanimity (peace within chaos) that it brings me is worth the work.
