June’s Chance Meeting will feature a discussion on the topic “Beyond Cryptocurrency: Blockchain Technology and Applications.”
The virtual event hosted by Silicon Couloir, a local nonprofit with a menu of programs to help people start and grow their own businesses, is scheduled for 5 to 6 p.m. Monday and is free and open to all.
A panel discussion will cover the basics of blockchain and how it is being applied to businesses and systems for the better.
Rarely “does an innovation come along with as much potential to alter and disrupt our current systems as blockchain,” Silicon Couloir said. It’s “changing the way we do business.”
