If money is energy, then the beliefs we carry about money matter too.

And for a lot of us, those beliefs were shaped long before we ever had the language to question them.

We grew up hearing things like:

– “Money doesn’t grow on trees.”
– “Money is the root of all evil.”
– “More money, more problems.”
– “Money changes people.”
– “You can’t take it with you.”
– “Filthy rich.”
– “The rich get richer and the poor get poorer.”

And whether people meant harm or not, those phrases carry energy.

They teach scarcity.
– Suspicion.
– Shame.
– Hopelessness.
– Fear.
– Guilt around desire.
– Distrust of wealth.
– Distrust of prosperous people.
– Distrust of our own ability to receive more.

That matters, because if we say we want prosperity but deep down associate money with corruption, pressure, stress, selfishness, or spiritual emptiness…

then part of our energy is pulling in the opposite direction.

That’s the leak.

And it can be sneaky because these sayings are so common they sound normal. But normal does not always mean aligned.

Our earlier discussions already pointed toward this. Prosperity requires a mindset shift around abundance, worthiness, and receiving.

So today feels like a good day to ask:

– What money saying shaped me growing up?
– What emotion comes up when I think about wealth?
– What part of me still believes abundance might cost me my goodness, my peace, or my identity?

Because awareness is where the rewrite begins.
