The goal is to heal so love overflows, not pain. It’s very easy for loved ones & others to catch strays, when we are going thru things internally. Today we choose repair over repeat. We break those cycles.
🧵Threads to our past work:
– Parts Work (IFS): Meet the hurt part with curiosity, not judgment. Let Self (calm, compassionate you) lead, & let the Protector (Ego) rest.
– Heart Coherence: Downshift the nervous system so healing can start (slow breath, hand on heart, recall a sincere moment of appreciation).
– Quantum / Anchoring: Respond from the scar you’re building, not the wound you’re in. Every second of every moment you are healing.
Action To “Stop the Bleed”
1. Breathe: inhale 4, exhale 6.
2. Name it: “I feel ….”
3. Ask: “What does this part need?” ….space, support, or to be heard?
4. One action: a pause, a boundary, an honest apology, or a request.
Check-in: Am I replying from my wound or my wisdom?
Some wise ways:
– Text: “I need a moment. I’ll respond when I’m clear.” When your not in a good space to respond.
– Journal: “The lesson is ___. I’m choosing ___.”
– Repair: “I’m sorry for how that hit/landed. Here’s what I’ll do differently.”
