Rise & Grind 👑 🙌🏾
My intention today is to reflect on the lessons reviewed to help me avoid the traps of division I see and feel around me. Now is really a time for everyone to stay connected to the deeper values that make us one. The truth is many of us want the same things at the core: safety, respect, and a future worth fighting for. We just may differ in our paths to get there.
As we navigate these tense and often polarizing moments in time, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed, defensive, or even a little lost. This week, we’re diving into the 3rd Agreement: Don’t Make Assumptions. This lesson, paired with the truths from the 1st and 2nd Agreements, is here to remind us of something crucial: much of what we see around us is shaped by assumptions and projections.
When we assume what others believe or what their actions mean, we easily fall into the “smokey mirror” of illusion, seeing only our own fears or judgments reflected back at us. But, if we take a step back and remember that everyone is working through their own dream, their own understanding of the world, we can find a way through the fog.
This agreement is powerful in political times. Imagine if, instead of jumping to conclusions about someone’s views or feeling instant anger over a post, we paused to recognize that they, too, are navigating a complex world.
My intentions are to reflect on the following:
– Are we projecting fears or assumptions onto others who see the world differently?
– Can we find common values beneath the surface, connecting us beyond opinions?
– How can we keep our hearts open, grounded in love over fear, even amid disagreement?
By choosing not to assume and to see beyond the “smokey mirror,” we create space for unity, understanding, and a little more hope for ourselves and others. 🌱 Let’s be kind to each other, remembering that we’re all doing our best to find clarity in a complex world.🙏🏾
Blue Techker naturally like your web site however you need to take a look at the spelling on several of your posts. A number of them are rife with spelling problems and I find it very bothersome to tell the truth on the other hand I will surely come again again.
