Rise & Grind 👑 🙌🏾
Love & Light to everyone out there, I know times have been challenging for a lot of us but remember your worth fighting for. One way to prepare for this fight is to dive into the 1st Agreement. This chapter comes after the previous chapters we’ve reviewed in the previous weeks The Smokey Mirror, “Domestication and the Dream of the Planet,” & “Prelude to a New Dream.
The 1st agreement starts off with some harsh truth. He starts off telling us it’s the most important agreement we can have. And even though it sounds very simple, and it is very, very powerful…The truth is it’s the most difficult one to honor. But its the most important because it’s how we transcend to the level of existence, equanimity. Peace within Chaos, aka heaven on earth. So let’s get into the 1st of 4 Agreements.
Summary of Being Impeccable with Your Word
The First Agreement in The Four Agreements is all about understanding the power of our words. To be impeccable with our word means to speak with integrity and truth, both to ourself and others. Our words have the power to create or destroy, not just in how we communicate with others, but in how we shape our own reality. Every word we speak carries energy, and that energy can either lift us up or bring us down.
When we speak negatively—whether through gossip, judgment, or self-criticism—we are casting harmful spells, reinforcing false beliefs and creating emotional poison. On the other hand, using our words for truth, love, and encouragement breaks those harmful spells and allows us to live with authenticity, self-respect, and compassion.
Breaking Spells: Real-World Example:
Imagine someone growing up constantly hearing, “You’re not smart enough” or “You’ll never succeed.” Over time, this negative message becomes a deeply ingrained belief, casting a spell of self-doubt and limiting that person’s potential.
But by embracing the First Agreement, this person can start breaking that spell. They begin speaking to themselves with kindness, saying things like, “I am capable of learning and growing” or “I have the power to create success in my own way.” These new words act like counter-spells, breaking the negative belief and replacing it with one that aligns with their true potential.
Here’s the deal, the way we speak, especially to ourselves, is critical. When we choose words of self-empowerment and love, we break the negative spells that have been cast over us by others or ourselves. This week, let’s practice being impeccable with our words to create a reality rooted in truth, strength, and positivity.
