What if we stop trying?
It’s easy to talk about how to manifest, but what’s a way to overcome feelings of inadequacy when we feel like our manifestations aren’t “working”?
Discouragement comes when feeling as tho you’ve been diligent in your practice without seeing the harvest from the seeds sowed. Don’t judge each day by the harvest reaped but by the seeds planted. Meaning, focus on the type of seeds being planted & let the universe take care of the rest.
Trust & Patience, always bring balance. We learned “STAGE 4: TRUST & SURRENDER (Sources: The 7 Laws of Attraction)” Trust in the process and surrender to the flow of the universe. Basically, trust in the universe, even if you don’t see immediate results. Surrendering doesn’t mean giving up but rather allowing space for things to unfold naturally. & Patience is found resting in the spaces between thoughts. Lack of trust can keep someone from taking the leap of faith needed to step onto the path they’ve manifested.
I came across this YouTube video that showed a way to overcome feelings of inadequacy…STOP TRYING. Ikr…what?!
Well 2600 years ago, Lao Tzu, created The Art Of Not Trying, which is Taoism (Daoism). “Tao” (“Dao”) means “The Way” or “The Path.”
It is a way of living that teaches us to go with the flow & stay balanced, just like nature. Imagine a river flowing smoothly around rocks & trees. Taoism suggests we live our lives like that river—calm, flexible, and natural. It encourages us not to get caught up in things.
Wu Wei, or “doing without doing,” is a philosophy taught in Taoism. It’s letting actions come naturally without forcing things.
Did you know this philosophy has been taught to youth without the majority even knowing? Have you ever heard of Winnie The Pooh?
Winnie the Pooh’s philosophies often align with Taoism. Both emphasize simplicity, naturalness, & the wisdom of going with the flow. Here are a few parallels:
1. Simplicity & Contentment:
– Winnie the Pooh: Pooh is content with simple pleasures like honey and the company of his friends. He doesn’t strive for more than what he needs.
– Lao Tzu: Advocates for simplicity and warns against the complications of excessive desires. He suggests that contentment and simplicity lead to true happiness.
2. Effortless Action (Wu Wei):
– Winnie the Pooh: Pooh often achieves things without trying too hard. His adventures unfold naturally, and his lack of overthinking often leads to solutions.
– Lao Tzu: The concept of Wu Wei is central in Taoism, meaning effortless action or natural flow. It’s about allowing things to happen naturally without force.
3. Being Present:
– Winnie the Pooh: Pooh is always present in the moment, enjoying whatever he’s doing without worrying about the past or future.
– Lao Tzu: Emphasizes living in the present and being fully engaged with the current moment.
4. Humility:
– Winnie the Pooh: Pooh’s humility is a key part of his character. He doesn’t see himself as special or above others, and this endears him to his friends.
– Lao Tzu: Lao Tzu teaches the value of humility, suggesting that those who are humble and soft will overcome those who are arrogant and hard.
5. Natural Wisdom:
– Winnie the Pooh: Pooh’s wisdom comes from his simple, straightforward approach to life. His innocent perspective often leads to profound insights.
– Lao Tzu: Lao Tzu’s wisdom also comes from observing nature and living in harmony with it. He believes that true wisdom is natural and intuitive.
