The Tongan Tala netball team is expecting a physical encounter against the Fiji Pearls in their second match of the Vodafone Oceania Netball World Cup Qualifier tonight.
Tonga Tala captain Hu-lita Haukinima Veve says Fiji has some experienced players.
Tonga is the Pacific AusSports Netball champions after defeating Fiji twice, 68-54 in the round-robin match and 60-52 in the final.
The top two teams from this competition will secure their places at next year’s Netball World Cup in Cape Town.
The match between the Fiji Pearls and Tonga Tala is at 7.30 tonight and PNG Pepes will take on Cook Islands at 5.30 at the Vodafone Arena.
