SPAC Global Blockchain Acquisition Corp. Files for IPO

Blank-check company Global Blockchain Acquisition Corp. filed for a $150 million initial public offering on Wednesday.
The company said it intends to focus its search for an initial business combination on blockchain-related technology, economy, industries and solutions companies.

The company also said its sponsor, Global Blockchain Sponsor LLC, is affiliated with members of its board and its management team. Among the management team are Chairman David Metcalf and Max Hooper, president and chief executive, who are both general partners and managing directors at Global Blockchain Ventures.
Global Blockchain Acquisition said it intends to apply to list on the Nasdaq Global Market.
I-Bankers Securities, Inc. is listed as the offering’s sole book-running manager and Dawson James Securities, Inc. is listed as co-manager.
