Solana and Dogecoin look sour during red day on crypto markets


The only ‘Top 20’ crypto experiencing gains today is Algorand which has ascended 10.9% – an impressive amount given its peer’s performances

Solana was among the bigger losers as many digital assets languished across exchanges.

Trading at US$226.10 the Solana ‘alt-coin’ – the fifth most popular crypto – was down around 6.1%.

Other notable ‘Top 20’ crypto fallers included the likes of Chainlink (-6.6%), Terra (-6.2%), Avalanche (-6%), Dogecoin (-4.9%), Uniswap (-4.9%), Shiba Inu (-4.8%), XRP (-3.9%), and Cardano (-3.7%).

Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Binance Coin, the largest three cryptocurrencies, have been floating in the vicinity of sliding 3-4%. 

Meanwhile, the only ‘Top 20’ crypto experiencing gains today is Algorand which has ascended 10.9% – an impressive amount given its peer’s performances.  

Decentraland, the metaverse alt-coin has surged 26.6% which has helped it claw its way back into the top 40 most common cryptos.
